History: A Story-centric Approach

Nowhere in San Francisco is there a major venue dedicated to telling the stories of the men and women who made this City and the Bay Area what it is today. The Mint Project will be the first such cultural institution, celebrating the contributions of these individuals and the impacts they have had on our community, nation and the world.
By sharing and collectively experiencing this well of fascinating stories. The Mint Project will...
  • Link current issues to the past, making history relevant and useful to our daily lives
  • Spark a dialogue on important issues, increasing understanding and empathy towards alternative solutions and different perspectives
  • Inspire visitors to improve their lives and their communities
  • Invite all to contribute their own stories and perspectives to the collective
Individual Story Section coming soon.
