Why do history and culture matter?

Mankind lives in the present and plans for the future. So why concern ourselves with the past? Because history repeats itself.
Our knowledge of the past and what we do with it determines which outcome we realize.
  • If we lose our past then we will regress and society will devolve;
  • If we ignore the past then we will maintain the status quo, reliving the same situation time and time again;
  • However, if we leverage the past then we can progress and take society to new heights.

Can you imagine doing medical research without any knowledge of prior medical tests and laboratory results? OR Can you imagine sending military leaders into conflict with no knowledge of previous military campaigns and the reason for their outcomes?

History provides us with a detailed map enabling us to navigate through any situation good or bad. It is filled with countless examples that are relevant and instructive to how we tackle key issues of the day. The Mint will be a place where you can...
